Waitress the Musical is making its international premiere in Manila this November, and today, Atlantis Theatrical unveils its complete cast. Featuring the music of Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, the Broadway musical hit is slated to take place at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium in RCBC Plaza, Makati City from 9 November 9 to 2 December.

Based on the film by Adrienne Shelly, the local adaptation of the musical is directed by Bobby Garcia with choreography by Cecile Martinez, set design by Tony Award winner David Gallo, lighting design by Aaron Porter, musical direction by Farley Asuncion, costume design by Raven Ong, sound design by Josh Millican, hair and makeup design by Johann dela Fuente, an vocal coaching by Manman Angsico.

As previously announced, Joanna Ampil will be playing the lead role of Jenna Hunterson. The role of Becky and Dawn will be played by Bituin Escalante and Maronne Cruz respectively.

Joining them are Bibo Reyes (In the Heights, Rock of Ages, Matilda, Ang Huling El Bimbo) as Dr. Pomatter, Nino Alejandro (Jersey Boys, The Full Monty, The Bridges of Madison County) as Ogie, George Schulze (Hair, Monty Python’s Spamalot, The Horse and His Boy, 50 Shades! A Musical Parody) as Earl, Dean Rosen (Monty Python’s Spamalot) as Cal, and Steven Conde (Bridges of Madison County the Musical, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, Matilda the Musical) as Joe.
