Katharine McPhee will head back to the diner for a final helping of pie. Kat, who made her Broadway debut in 2018, as Jenna in Waitress, will reprise her turn at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in the musical’s final weeks.

Katharine will rejoin the show on 25 November 25, remaining until its final performance on 5 January 2020. She will succeed fellow “American Idol” alum, Jordin Sparks, who will take her final bow on 24 November.

Following her first leading lady turn as Jenna in Waitress, Kat originated the role in the show’s West End staging and has released a digital single of her recording of “She Used To Be Mine.”
