Following the illness of Lucie Jones, Sarah O’Connor and Olivia Moore, Desi Oakley was flown in by producers to cover the role of Jenna last week, starting on 13 January, and ending on Saturday 18 January. Lucie resumed the role of Jenna in tonight’s performance, whilst Desi watched the show from the stalls; however, Lucie was taken ill and Desi was drafted in to finish the show during the interval.

Desi will continue playing Jenna for the rest of the week; Lucie is due to resume the role on Saturday 25 January, playing her last performance for six weeks, as Sara Bareilles takes over the role for a limited run. Lucie is due to return to the show on 9 March 2020.
