According to online sources on Twitter, Waitress the Musical will close on the West End, and not re-open following the Adelphi Theatre being closed due to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Theatres across the West End are reportedly being asked to stay closed until 30 June 2020, which means that Waitress would have reopened on Wednesday 1 July 2020, to play five performances before the sixth and final performance in the evening of 4 July 2020.

The producers, LW Theatres and the Society of London Theatres (SOLT) have not confirmed or denied the rumours.
