Casting for Waitress the Musical in Japan has been announced, including Swedish TV personality and film critic, LiLiCo, who will play the role of Becky alongside Rinko Urashima.
The cast is as follows:

- Dr. Pomatter – Mamoru Miyano
- Becky – LiLiCo and Rinko Urashima
- Dawn – Emma Miyazawa
- Cal – Katsuya
- Ogie (Oggy) – Obata no Onīsan
- Earl – Daisuke Watanabe
- Joe – Kunio Murai
- Lulu – Risa Kaneko, Misono Tsumugu, Aya Mochizuki
- Ensemble and Understudies – Ryo Kuronuma, Mayu Tanaka, Kenta Chatani, Taichi Nakano, Renka Fujimori, Maho Mugishima, Nanami Watanabe
The show will open on 9 March 2021 in Tokyo, before travelling to 3 other parts of the country, with dates as follows:

- Fukuoka – Hakataza 4 April – 11 April 2021
- Osaka – Umeda Arts Theatre 15 April – 19 April 2021
