Following reports that Waitress the Musical was due to be filmed in London last year, before the COVID-19 pandemic caused Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel to leave the UK earlier than expected, speculation was high that the Broadway restaging would be filmed as a professionally shot (prophet) recording.

A film crew branded ‘All Access’ was seen arriving today with specialist equipment, unloading into the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, where the show is playing, fuelling reports that the proshot will take place this week.
