Waitress the Musical’s social media team posted a message to Kelly Clarkson via her “The Kelly Clarkson Show” Twitter account, asking her to perform “She Used To Be Mine” before Waitress closes on Broadway.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the show closed early, but Kelly performed an abridged version of the song on her show today, accompanied by dancers portraying Jenna and Earl.

Following the performance, Kelly spoke to Ciara Renée via webcam about appearing in the show.

The segment was recorded a few weeks ago, prior to the unfortunate announcement that the show was closing two weeks earlier than planned; it was due to officially close on Sunday, 9 January 2022.
