Betsy Wolfe

Betsy Wolfe played Jenna Hunterson in Waitress the Musical on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre from 13 June 2017 through to 9 January 2018.

On Jenna, Betsy said: “She is a fighter. I don’t like to see her at all as a victim. She is just like all of us, but one day she finds herself having stepped down a road maybe a little bit too far. It is inspiring to get to watch her dig herself out of this hole. She has to rediscover herself and her own spirit that she lost along the way. It’s because of her heart that she’s so compelling.”

Betsy played alongside Jason Mraz during her run as Jenna, saying: “He brings such a different energy to the show. And it has been a joy re-exploring what this relationship is with him. He is absolutely delightful, chill, easygoing and free. Sara was the same exact way. It’s no surprise to me that they are friends.”

The promotional photo of Betsy as Jenna became the official press photo for the First National Tour.
