Jessie Shelton
Jessie Shelton played Dawn Louise Pinkett in many venues on the First National Tour of Waitress the Musical.In 2007, she was injured when trapped on the crumbling Interstate 35W bridge, her car being moved around as the bridge collapsed. It saw her spend three months in a body brace, making a close to full recovery before going to university.
After her stint with Waitress on tour, she went onto star in Hadestown on Broadway, and Cruel Intentions, The 90s Musical Experience in its off-Broadway debut.
