Joey McIntyre
Joey McIntyre played Dr. Jim Pomatter in Waitress the Musical on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in early 2019.
Joey joined New Kids on the Block in 1985, just before his 13th birthday, replacing Mark Wahlberg. They became one of the most successful boy bands of the late 20th century, producing two #1 albums on the US Billboard charts. They split in 1994, but they reunited in 2008 and have remained active since.
In 2001, Joey played Jon in Jonathan Larson’s Tick, Tick… BOOM! for both the off-Broadway and national tour productions. In 2004, he played Fiyero in the Broadway musical Wicked. He also competed on the first season of the reality television show Dancing with the Stars, winning third place with dance professional partner Ashly DelGrosso.
