Mark Evans

Mark Evans played Dr. Jim Pomatter in Waitress the Musical on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in summer 2019.

Mark is originally from Wales, and like Lucie Jones, who became the first British actress to play Jenna, also entered “Eurovision: Your Country Needs You” to represent the UK at the 2009 Eurovision Song contest. He finished in third place, losing out to Jade Ewen, who went onto come 5th with the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren composition, “It’s My Time.”

Mark is also a regular on S4C, appearing frequently on Welsh-language programmes as “Dechrau Canu Dechrau Canmol”, “Wedi 7”, “The Eisteddfod Annual Concert”, “The Sian Cothi Show”, “Noson Lawen” and “The Big Welsh Talent Concert”.
