Willemijn Verkaik
Willemijn Verkaik originated the role of Jenna Hunterson in Waitress the Musical’s first Central European production in Amsterdam , the Netherlands.
Willemijn is one of the most successful European musical theatre performers in recent history. She is the longest running Elphaba in Wicked, having played the role over 2,000 times, and is the only person to have played the role in three different languages (Dutch, German and English) in both London’s West End and on Broadway in New York, as well as in Stuttgart and Oberhausen in Germany and Scheveningen in the Netherlands.
In addition, she is also the singing voice of Elsa in both the German and Dutch versions of Disney’s Frozen.
