Bailey McCall
Bailey McCall originated the role of Jenna Hunterson in the non-Equity Second North American Tour of Waitress the Musical in 2019/20.
She dedicates her performance to ‘any woman who has ever been made to feel less than you are; you matter.’
Bailey chose not to return to Waitress on tour when it resumed after the COVID-19 pandemic, saying on Instagram: “Playing Jenna was a 5-year long dream of mine turned to reality and then ripped away from me – and all of us – far too soon. 18 months ago, I never would have imagined turning down the chance to go back out and finish what we started… It’s okay to choose you and to pursue new dreams and to make space for a new chapter – even if you don’t know what that chapter is going to be.”
Having joined Equity since leaving the second tour, Bailey took a role in the ensemble and understudy Jenna in the 2022 US Residencies.
