Waitress the Musical will play at the Oguinquit Playhouse, Maine from Thursday 9 May to Saturday 8 June 2024, reuniting some of the musical’s cast, including Desi Oakley as Jenna.

One of the first regional runs, now the show is available for licensing, the Ogunquit Playhouse run will be directed by Abbey O’Brien, who worked on the show with Diane Paulus as director and Lorin Latarro as directed (as well as directing the 2022 residencies). The show will have new choreography by Cost n’ Mayor (Austin and Marideth Telenko), music supervision by Ryan Cantwell and music direction by Leigh Delano; it will featuring the original scenic design (by Scott Pask), and original costume design by Suttirat Anne Larlarb.

The show will reunite three Waitress alums – Desi Oakley, who starred in the First National Tour and made a guest appearance on the West End, as Jenna, and from both the First National Tour and Broadway, Matt DeAngelis as Earl, and Maiesha McQueen as Becky.

The show will also star Jimmy Ray Bennett as Cal, Ben Jacoby as Dr. Pomatter, Gizel Jiminez as Dawn, Kennedy Kanagawa Ogie, and Cleavant Derricks as Joe. The ensemble cast will feature Matthew Curiano, Daniela Durbin, Sam Hartley, Renee Jackson, Jake Urban, Chelsea Williams, Evelyn Woodman, and Thabitha Moruthane, as well as some other Waitress alum – Andrew Burton Kelley, Gabriella Marzetta, and Julia Rippon,
