Matt DeAngelis
Matt DeAngelis was part of the ensemble on the Broadway production of Waitress the Musical, as well as an understudy Earl Hunterson.
He joined the First National Tour as Earl Hunterson midway in the run, reuniting him with his real-life fiancé, Christine Dwyer, who was playing Jenna Hunterson on the tour. They married on 5 August 2019. Matt and Christine also co-own a music theatre and acting studio, called The Working Studio, dedicated to unlocking potential and embracing individuality in the audition process.
Matt returned to the Broadway restaging in 2021 as part of the ensemble, and then reprised the role of Earl in the two 2022 residencies. He went onto start as Earl in the 2024 production at the Ogunquit Playhouse, Maine.
Matt also starred in two episodes of “Daredevil” as Jasper Evans.
