Jenna Ushkowitz

Jenna Ushkowitz played the role of Dawn Louise Pinkett in Waitress the Musical on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in late 2016, following the early departure of Kimiko Glenn.

Jenna is a Tony Award-winning producer, actress, singer and podcast host, known internationally for playing the role of Tina Cohen-Chang on the Fox comedy-drama series “Glee.” Her first role in a Broadway musical was in the 1996 revival of The King and I.

In December 2015, Jenna was cast as Marie the Nurse in the film adaptation of the musical Hello Again, alongside Nolan Gerard Funk, Audra McDonald, and Martha Plimpton.

She left Waitress on 19 October 2016. She then appeared alongside Tracie Thoms and Rachel Dratch in The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway. In 2017, she co-produced Be More Chill and Once On This Island, winning a Tony Award in 2018 for Best Revival of a Musical for the latter.
