Kimiko Glenn

Kimiko Glenn originated the role of Dawn Louise Pinkett in Waitress the Musical on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Kimiko’s voice can be heard on the Original Broadway Cast Recording.

She is best known for her role as Litchfield Penitentiary inmate Brook Soso in the Netflix show “Orange Is The New Black,” for which she received Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016 for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. She is also well known for her recurring role on FX’s “Married” and starred in the Lionsgate feature film “Nerve.” Following her role in Waitress, she starred as Harlow in the comedy series “Liza On Demand,” with Travis Coles and creator Liza Koshy.

Her role in Waitress marked her Broadway debut. She left the show on 28 July 2016.
