Joel Montague
Joel Montague was the fourth actor to take-over the role of Ogie Herbert Eincorn in Waitress the Musical on the West End.
Joel came to Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre after appearing in the UK premiere of Falsettos at the Other Palace, also owned by LW Theatres. His previous TV work includes Coronation Street and Grange Hill.
During the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, Joel became a driver for Hermes, and filmed custom videos on Cameo.
Joel returned to Waitress in 2022, covering the role of Ogie for close to a week of the UK and Ireland tour in Oxford, due to George Crawford testing positive for COVID-19. The following week, he announced he has been cast as King George III in Hamilton the Musical on the West End.
Joel is married to Carrie Hope Fletcher, who attended the West End premiere of Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre.
In early 2024, he took a leave of absence from Hamilton from 13 January to 8 April, to star in the Live Aid musical, Just For One Day, at the Old Vic Theatre.
