Maria Lucia Heiberg Rosenberg
Maria Lucia Rosenberg originated the role of Jenna in Waitress the Musical’s Scandinavian premiere in Copenhagen, in 2021.
Maria Luca is a famous musician, actress and voice artist, having won season 4 of “Popstars Showtime!” Denmark in 2003, which led to her scoring a #1 single with ‘Taking Back My Heart’ and hit album, “That’s Just Me.” She is the voice of Elsa in the Danish translation of Disney’s “Frozen,” having originated the role of Elphaba in the Danish non-replica premiere of Wicked at Det Ny Teater in 2011.
In 2013, she participated in the TV show ‘Vild med Dans’ (‘Dancing With the Stars’), dancing with Morten Kjeldgaard.
In February 2020, Maria Lucia joined Idina Menzel, Aurora and eight other international Elsa voice artists to perform the song ‘Into The Unknown’ at the 92nd Academy Awards while being pregnant with her first son, Per. Her performance in Waitress marks her return to the stage from maternity leave.
