Michael Starke
Michael Starke originated the role of Joe on the UK and Ireland tour of Waitress the Musical.
Michael is most well-known for his roles in British soap operas, most notably for playing Thomas ‘Sinbad’ Sweeney in Channel 4’s “Brookside,” which he played for sixteen years. He also played played Jerry Morton in ITV’s “Coronation Street” for two years, as well as Kenneth Hopkirk in “The Royal.”
Michael is a regular cabaret performer on P&O Britannia and is working on a new musical with his songwriting partner, Joe Wynne, about Everton FC.
