Mikael Saari

Mikael originated the role of Dr. Pomatter in Waitress the Musical in Lahti, Finland.

In addition to theatre work, Mikael has participated in the Yle “New Music Competition” (“Uuden_Musiikin_Kilpailu”) in 2013 and 2016, where the winner is sent to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest. He came second in 2013, and third in 2016, but won the Viisukuppila fan award on both occasions. In 2016, he released his debut album, “The Grand Letdown.”
