Obata no Onīsan
Obata originated the role of Ogie in Waitress the Musical in Japan.
He is a comedian, known for imitating Shun Oguri, and represented by Yoshimoto Creative Agency Tokyo.
Waitress will be his musical debut. He said: “I only really experienced my first musical and now I’m starring in the Japanese version of this Broadway musical! As the only comedian in the cast, I will do my best to add the flair that is unique to comedians. By the time everyone sees it, I’ll have my feet on the ground!”
