Laura Baldwin

Laura Baldwin originated the role of Dawn Louise Pinkett in Waitress the Musical on the West End. The producers gave her a summer vacation from 17 June 2019 through to 10 August 2019, when the role was played by Ashley Roberts, formerly of the Pussycat Dolls.

Waitress is Laura’s first West End credit, having played off-West End at The Other Palace in roles including Janey in Eugenius, Story Sandra in Big Fish and Sam in The Little Beasts. Eugenius was due to transfer to the West End, for a limited run at the Ambassadors Theatre, but this was cancelled weeks before it was due to start due to a producer pulling funding.

Laura went onto star in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella, alongside Carrie Hope Fletcher, which opened in 2021.
