Zofia Nowakowska
Zofia Nowakowska was one of three actors to play the role of Jenna Hunterson in Waitress the Musical’s Polish premiere in Warsaw, in 2021.
Zofia was part of the Studio Buffo musical theatre company from 2004-2010, performing in a variety of works including playing the role of the young Marie Antoinette in the opera “Ça Ira” by bassist and leader of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters. She has also recorded albums as a vocalist with Piotr Rubik.
In 2017, Zofia was among the four finalists of the 7th edition of Polsat TV programme “Your Face Sounds Familiar” (“Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo”).
She is also known in Poland for her voice-over work, being the voice of Princess Gilselle in Disney’s “Enchanted”, the lead character in “Elena of Avalor”, and the voice of lioness Nali in the live-action “The Lion King,” voiced by Beyoncé in the English-language version.
